The section is 3.9% of the 10,933,117 Brazilian records we hold from the Receita Federal (CNPJ registry), extracted 2026-10-10. The largest divisions are 56 (food and beverage service activities, 382,087) and 55 (accommodation, 49,088). By state, São Paulo leads with 122,681 (28% of the section), followed by Minas Gerais (44,968) and Rio de Janeiro (41,539).
