Professional services companies in Mexico

Mexico's INEGI DENUE lists 26,083 companies in professional, scientific and technical activities (ISIC section M), all of them active, which is 3.1% of all Mexican records in the LatSouth build (data as of 2026-05-20). By state, Ciudad de México leads with 4,878 (19% of the section), followed by Nuevo León (2,687) and Jalisco (2,076). The largest divisions are 69 (legal and accounting activities, 11,002) and 71 (architectural and engineering activities; technical testing and analysis, 5,577); 5 further divisions complete it.

Consultancies, law and accounting firms, engineering offices, agencies and design studios. Division 70 also holds 'activities of head offices', where many group holding companies register, so it overstates consultancies. Division 69 is a channel in itself: accountants file for most small companies in Brazil and Colombia. Professional-services software, payroll, legal-tech and B2B marketing vendors buy this section. In Mexico, 82% of these rows carry an ISIC class; size is known for 100%; 42.8% have a declared website or corporate domain; 1,719 were registered in the 12 months before the extraction. Mexican rows are establishments of private legal entities from the DENUE 05/2026 edition; chains appear once per location.
