Water and waste companies in Argentina

Argentina's Registro Nacional de Sociedades lists 3,006 companies in water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation (ISIC section E), all of them active, which is 0.2% of all Argentine records in the LatSouth build (data as of 2026-09-18). By province, Buenos Aires leads with 958 (32% of the section), followed by Ciudad Autonoma Buenos Aires (563) and Cordoba (297). The largest divisions are 38 (waste collection, treatment and disposal activities; materials recovery, 1,947) and 36 (water collection, treatment and supply, 629); 2 further divisions complete it.

Water utilities, sanitation concessions, waste haulers, recyclers and environmental remediation firms. Division 38 is the bulk of it: collection, landfills, scrap and materials recovery. Buyers are typically equipment, fleet, compliance and ESG-reporting vendors; municipal utilities register as public-sector entities and are flagged in the sector column. In Argentina, 100% of these rows carry an ISIC class; the registry publishes no size field; the registry publishes no website or e-mail; 65 were registered in the 12 months before the extraction. Argentina publishes no company status, so 'active' means at least one active activity row; the 28% of Argentine companies with an unmapped legacy code fall outside every ISIC section.
